Without any way of contacting the owner you are unable to adivse them you have their keys, phone, bag, pet, luggage, etc, and the owner is unlikely to find their belongings.

Some people are understandably reluctant to openly publish their name, phone number or address on their items. If Found Tag allows people to register an ID number online where a Good Samaritan can contact the owners without the owners releasing any of their details.
